Covid-19 News & Updates

With the spread of the Corona Virus, we have had many questions in regards to upcoming event dates and new bookings. We care about your event and we know this is a very stressful time, so we are working on a case-by-case basis to accommodate order adjustments.

Due to high call volume, we ask that you email us at info@cedarandpineevents.com if you have questions. We’ve put some general information below.

Covid – 19 FAQ

Can I get a refund?

Per our contract, any and all payments are non-refundable. As a small business, this is important to protect ourselves and our employees.

Should a city or state mandate require you to postpone your event, we are happy to work with you to reschedule your event. In most cases, any payments you have made up to this point can be applied to your new event date.

Can I reschedule my event date?

If a city or state mandate requires you to postpone your event, we are happy to reschedule your date to any available within a 12 month period of your origional date.

To maintain your full payment credit, your rescheduled order cannot exceed a 25% reduction of your current order.

If your event changes location, delivery fees may be subject to change. 

What if I want to postpone my event even through my date is not directly affected by a city or state mandate?

We are allowing anyone who would like to reschedule their upcoming event to do so without a date transfer fee through 5/15.

After that time, a 25% rescheduling fee will apply to help cover the cost associated with  holding these items on your behalf up to the point of postponement. 

What if my guest count is much less than anticipated?

If you plan to move forward with your event without rescheduling, we are allowing for larger than usual guest count reductions on most orders.

Will you be sanitizing your rental items before delivering them to our event?

All future Cedar & Pine Events will follow strict guidelines for cleaning and sanitizing of tables & chairs as set out by the CDC.

We will make every effort to protect you and your guests at every event. 

What about your staff?

Our team will be instructed not to come to work if they are experiencing any cold or flu like symptoms in order to protect themselves, and the guests at your event. Furthermore, all staff will wear protective gloves and will have hand sanitizer available as long as deemed essential by the CDC. 

What if I book now and end up having to postpone?

In order to give our customers peace of mind, we have updated our contract terms to include more flexibility for rescheduling, should it become required by city or state mandates.

Are you currently taking viewing appointments?

Unfortunately, we are not able to take viewing appointments until social distancing restrictions are lessened. If you want to schedule a viewing, please let us know and we will schedule one as soon as we can safely do so.
